Question by Michelle Steel: Which part of Greenland a good place to live and where to look for housing?
I’m thinking of moving country to Green land (i had a many dreams about it) seems nice i want to take a holiday there soon and i was wondering if somebody can help me.

You don’t state which country you come from and that will determine whether or not you can move to Greenland. If you’re from an EU country, then you can move to Greenland with no problems. But if you’re from a country such as the US, you can only visit Greenland as a tourist and stay for a maximum of 90 days.
Greenland might seem ‘nice’ but it’s extremely cold with only a short summer, not the sort of place I’d want to move to! The population is 56,000, and the majority of these people live on the ice-free Western coastline. The official language is Greenlandic. Even if you find you are allowed to move to Greenland, your biggest problem will be finding work as, not only does it have a very small population, you will need to speak either Greenlandic or Danish to get any sort of job.

I don’t live with my parents haven’t talked to them and don’t want to. They were abusive. Dorms are closed during breaks.

you can ask to stay with some friends and spend time with their families over breaks. it can be different friends each break so you don’t feel like a burden but i’m sure many people would be happy to have you.

My dad took me to snowbasin in Park City, Utah. It was amazing. we saw so many people from europe who came here because it was the same as skiing in he alps, only cheaper. It was awesome.

You can try Langkawi Island in Malaysia. A great place for a honeymoon but not a good place to shop around. You can read about it in travel wiki.
Just want to remind you, December is a monsoon season in Malaysia.

where would be a great place to go. We would like to stay in a house or hotel in a nice town where you get that stereotypical Canada picture with things to do around us. Exploring the woods, seeing a bear etc etc.. What would make a good first time experience. I would also love to see one of their great big trains

Not sure if you’re driving or flying or where you’re coming from but the Muskokas are a couple of hours north of Toronto. There are lots of nice resorts in the area, I’ve stayed at Clevelands House and enjoyed it. Not sure if you’ll see any bears but there’s plenty of nature in the area.
