Question by Rachel: What items do you pack on a caribbean holiday?
My husband and I are going on a trip to Cuba this fall and this will be the first trip south for me. I have almost no clue what I am supposed to bring aside from the normal. If you plan only to work in fruit picking – English is no problem but if you plan to work in the city then you are only likely to get a job in a cafe where English speaking and understanding is critical.

hello my neighbors to the north, how are the ski resorts (like whistler for example) during the USA presidents week holiday (February 16th-20th). Do they get more crowded than usual or is it not an issue??

Thailand and Bail are the two countries we are visiting. I have been to Bali previously however, have never been to Thailand. Any suggestions on countries to visit and things to do will be much appreciated.

Suggest Goa, Kerala, Karnataka, Tamilnadu and Lakshadweep Islands (off Kochi in Kerala). There are direct flights from Bangkok to Chennai (Madras) and Bangalore. For several tour packages and options browse the website referred below. Great value for money.
