In March & April 2009 we had a family holiday in Africa for a month and visited Kenya, Malawi, Zambia and South Africa. My dad works for Aardvark Safaris (www.aardvarksafaris.co.uk) and planned the trip. I had to write a journal and make a photostory for my school as projects (boo) – I did get to miss three weeks of school though (hurray)

Ideally would like somewhere that also offers other activities i.e swimming pool, ice skating etc Child friendly too (10yr old to keep happy) Preferably not overly expensive?? Canada, Austria, Switzerland?? Any1 no where is best????

Answer by beachluvr989 My dad took me to snowbasin in Park City, Utah. It was amazing. we saw so many people from europe who came here because it was the same as skiing in he alps, only cheaper. It was awesome.

My family and I are planning a summer vacation and we’d like to go somewhere warm,sunny and wet so my husband suggested a beach, but we don’t know where to go. We live near Pittsburgh Pennsylvania and we’d like to go somewhere with some sort of campground near walking distance to the beach, resterants near by, and clean. Cost or location does not matter as long as it’s along the east cost. We went to lake erie last summer and it was very dirty. Thank you all who take the time to answer and happy holidays!

Answer by Alyssa W I reccoment Newport, RI. its a nice town that can be on the expensive side but its got great beaches and tons of resteraunts. I live 20 minutes away from it and I go there almost every summer. (:

where would be a great place to go. We would like to stay in a house or hotel in a nice town where you get that stereotypical Canada picture with things to do around us. Exploring the woods, seeing a bear etc etc.. What would make a good first time experience. I would also love to see one of their great big trains

Answer by Dale M Not sure if you’re driving or flying or where you’re coming from but the Muskokas are a couple of hours north of Toronto. There are lots of nice resorts in the area, I’ve stayed at Clevelands House and enjoyed it. Not sure if you’ll see any bears but there’s plenty of nature in the area.
