And the hoi polloi (the masses of people) would have more holidays and days without hostility with neighboring countries – too far fetched?
And Peru could celebrate a festival with Brazil, with Columbia, with Ecuador. Etcetera…many many holidays…

Are there laws governing travel between those countries? If everyone was celebrating the same thing at the same time, I think it would be very unifying.

Yea, I bet that if those folks used a little of the coke they are sending to the USA they could unite and do about any thing together. But they’re to greedy to use their own product when its worth so many US dollars.
