When George Meegan walked from the tip of South America to Alaska, did he walk on a road or hiking trail?
Question by Jo ♫♪: When George Meegan walked from the tip of South America to Alaska, did he walk on a road or hiking trail?
I’m very interested in reading the book he wrote about it afterwards, “The Longest Walk”, and I was wondering if anybody knew if walked along a hiking trail or road to do it. Or if he used both.

Try reading the book or at least look at the pictures in the book.

You will see and read it was a combination with mostly roads as the route.

That book is fake….he never did that …he reminds me of bear gillis…..what a fake !!!!
Given the roads at the time and area of the world he was in, many of the “roads” we would consider trails.
He may have even made his own trails as needed.
By all means read the book.
Check his blog and you can ask him yourself.
