Since 2002 we have bicycle toured in Central and South America, SE Asia, China, Australia, New Zealand, and Canada

Jon from BikeScapes podcast in San Francisco asked us to explain where we have cycled since 2002. Cindie Travis lists the continents and countries we have been bicycle touring and I, Tim, mixed the bike riding pictures with the podcast interview mp3 audio. We have bike toured in Arizona, Mexico, Guatemala, Nicaragua, Costa Rica, Panama, Ecuador, Peru, Bolivia, Argentina, Chile, Thailand, Cambodia, Vietnam, China, Laos, Malaysia, Singapore, Australia, New Zealand, Alaska, Canada, and now the USA. What a long strange trip it has been. For the next 20+ years we plan on bicycling through India, Africa, The Middle East, Japan, and more. Check our web site at www.DownTheRoad.org for our current global location.

Thanks for the comment and compliments. Our next book will be about Thailand, Cambodia, and Vietnam. We were in China for 9 months and so many things happened there (including getting arrested) that it will have to wait for our fourth book.

@Amnas2011 Hello, thank you for viewing this video! I am from the Netherlands, I was 54 years old at the time and I did the trip on my own. I did not encounter mayor technical problems with the bike. The trip lasted four and a half weeks. Hope you will enjoy parts 2 to 5 which will be uploaded in the upcoming days!

    grtz,
