Question by goodbadugly: Backpacking South America, picking the right clothing.?
Im am planning a backpacking trip down to SA this coming Spring. I’m planning to spend about a month exploring Ecuador and Peru. One thing that is kind of giving me a hard time is what kind of clothing I should wear. I would rather blend in and not stick out and look “touristy”. Any advice or tips would be appreciated.

You will stand out but wear dark cloths, a thick jacket with big shoulders, stand up straight, shoulders back and look like you shouldn’t be messed with. Velcro up a pocket.
