A collection of photos take in northwestern Argentina. The landscapes are beautiful and incredibly diverse and the population is largely indigenous. I recommend visiting this area although I did encounter some issues that made the experience less than optimal.

@mattz63 there are more documentary videos of the humans and the cat, i’ve only seen it on french though. and it does walk alot, the thing is they travel a looong way and sometimes it’s really hot, both on the ground and in the air, so the thing about the cat having a resting spot and an umbrella to cool it down is just purrfect!

You folks are the cat’s meow. Wonderful story…..how about a feature movie of your journeys! Reminds me of our cat, who’s in kitty heaven now but he was Sparky the 6-toed Wondercat> He backpacked with us and had a repertoire of 6 show-stopping tricks, including rolling over on command and shaking hands when asked to shake hands (not such a big deal except for a cat-they usually only do things that are their idea. Thanks for the happiness that gave me ! Diane

That’s a very unusual wee cat ….. they normally like familiar surroundings and can become quite poorly if they travel to far from homw. Mine has travelled in the car with me since he was tiny

Mine too! We founder her in a planter (I think it’s called. o.o). She was so tiny. She lost her mom and siblings, so we took her in and named her Aries for her very “aries” like nature. xD She sits on our shoulders all the time. Maybe it’s the type of cat? (LOVE THE SPOTTED BELLIES!)
