Holiday in South America – Day 10 Tues 4th April 2007
Today we travelled in Peru from Cuzco to Ollantaytambo. On the way we visited the village of Ccaccaccollo to see a women’s weaving project, before travelling through the Sacred Valley, visiting Pisac Inca ruins, stopping for lunch at a lovely hacienda then travelling on to Ollantaytambo and the Inca ruins there.
Today we were in Puno, Peru. We visited Sillustani inca ruins, then went out on Lake Titicaca to visit the Uros floating reed islands and the people who live there.
