First of all, your sense of geography is incorrect. Nicaragua is not in South America. Canada, the United States, Mexico, and the Central American countries from Guatemala to Panama are all part of North America.

In terms of finding a mission trip, there are a lot of mission trips that go to Nicaragua and other countries year-round. Most of these mission trips are with faith-based groups, but there are also general non-faith based organizations that have operations in Nicaragua. Organizations work actively in rural communities more so than urban ones. Your best bet is to do a google search and look for “Mission Trips to Nicaragua.” Once you find one that matches your interests, get in contact with those in charge and arrange your travel and accommodations as required.

Are you coming from America? What do you mean by missions? do you mean a christian group??
I just went to Latin America with Global Expeditions. It was the best trip of my life. I went to Trinidad & Tobago. They also have trips to Ecuador, Panama, and Jamiaca. But none really to South America. Other than Latin America they have European trips, Asian Trips, North American trips, and African trips. I’d highly reccomend the group. They are wonderful.
