Ciudad Autónoma de Buenos Aires (residents referred to as Porteños) is an Alpha World City by definition and is the capital city of Argentina with the distinction of being the 2nd largest metropolitan area in South America trailing only São Paulo with a population of roughly 13 million. Regarded as the most European influenced city on the continent, one can find old world charms and distinct neighborhoods reflecting both wealth and extreme poverty in this diverse city best known for Tango, succulent steak & pumping non-stop nightlife.
