For me…Cape Town, South Africa…the most picturesque city in the world.
I’d have to agree- Bangkok wins… no contest. For me, it’s foreign and alien, yet familiar and comfortable at the same time. The many wats with their golden spires pointing heavenward… the sights and smells in Chinatown… a short cruise down the river will tell you in an instant that you’re not in Kansas anymore, Toto.
Yet in the very same city, we can visit some of the best modern shopping malls in the world… be pampered at the most luxurious spas ever imagined… eat at top-notch restaurants and enjoy some of the world’s best nightlife.
If you’re looking for sanook (fun), it’s hard to beat Bangkok.
I like Bangkok but best city ?
