Wild landscapes, captivating rain forest sceneries, remote villages – the Audi R8 Spyder on its unlikeliest trip yet.
Video Rating: 4 / 5

In normal times Teresopolis is a holiday town. But coffins are being prepared for the victims of the Brazilian floods and landslides. Identifying them is sometimes difficult, as documents belonging to many residents were washed away in the disaster. Bodies are being taken in by the dozen at the morgue, right in the town centre. Nursery school teacher Rita d’Avila has identified several of her children among the dead. She has volunteered to help the relief effort. … www.euronews.net

@mrjost55 If this car did cost US$ 487,728.13 in the USA as it does cost in Brazil, not many Americans could afford it either.

  22. RC18MT May 6th 2011

I can guarantee you the average person in Brazil lives a happier lifestyle than an average American. Money isn’t everything. :)

  23. alceuzinho May 6th 2011

@mrjost55 I live in Curitiba. Serch for “Curitiba, Brazil: World Cup 2014 Host City” in YouTube, and see it for yourself. That’s the Brazil I want foreigners to see.

  24. alceuzinho May 6th 2011

@mrjost55 As with all videos made from foreign people to foreign viewers, this one only tries to show the “charm” of poor people in beautiful Brazillian landscapes But, although it’s far (very far) from North-American levels there are plenty of Brazillians able to pay almost half a million dollars (Yeah! That’s its pricetag in here!) for this car. Just for the record, São Paulo, the richest Brazillian city, has more helicopters than New York or Tokyo, according to british newspaper The Guardian.
