Sami Folk Resistance in Sapmi — Making Contact?
Question by Tibby: Sami Folk Resistance in Sapmi — Making Contact?
I’m a grad student wanting to travel to Sapmi (“Lapland” in the Arctic Circle above Nordic countries) this summer 2009, to interview and observe Sami folk regarding indigenous resistance efforts for a research project on culture and politics. I need contacts and information, as this is the beginning of this project. Can anyone give me help, even in the form of weblinks or email addresses? Thanks!
