You can get a flight via Oslo (or “Oslo” with Ryanair, which actually takes you to Torp, which is far away from Oslo) to any Arctic destination in Norway any day. But why would you?

If it’s the midnight sun you’re seeking, you can find it the whole summer if you just go far enough northwards, and then you can search for cheap dates. Often the weather is also nicer in July/August, which increases your chance of actually seeing the sun at midnight.

If you’re going for the traditional, Scandinavian midsummer’s eve celebrations, you should go to Sweden instead. They do the whole maypole thing everywhere. Just get a plane ticket to Stockholm or Gothenburg, and ask at the tourist information there about how you can participate in the celebrations. In Southern Norway it’s more a family thing, with people going down to the beach/rocks and having a bonfire and enjoying the “whitest night of the year”. In Northern Norway there’s not so much fuzz about it, since they have a great many really white nights. There’s more reason to visit in the late winter, when there’s a party celebrating the return of the sun.
