My husband and I want to take some holidays at the end of Sept. to Canmore. Any ideas on affordable and comfortable accomodations? What to see and what to do? We want to have a great time but some of the accomodations are incredibly expensive..

you can try bed and breakfasts (here’s the website www.bbcanmore.com) and there are hotels that are relatively cheaper. really depends on what kind of accommodations you want, if you’re not to fussy there are cheaper but decent hotels. What to see and do? Mountains, lakes, wild life. We’ve got tons of biking and hiking trails, there are several lakes 2-10 minutes away from downtown canmore. banff is 15 minutes away, you can take the Gondola and have a 360 degree view of the Valley. Hot springs, you can also drive to Lake Louise which is amazing during summer. Send me an e-mail if you’ve got other questions.
