working holiday new zealand?
Question by Carla A: working holiday new zealand?
Hi, so I was thinking about going to NZ with a working holiday visa…I know I have to be under 30 years old to apply but my question is: once I apply and hopefully get it, do I have to be under 30 to enter for the first time with that visa? I’m going to turn 30 in a couple of months and I’m not really sure if I’ll be able to get everything ready by then. Please help me!!!
Thanks!!!
Zebra, procrastination my A$$…who are you to judge like this? I just decided OK? Just so you know, we welcome your people in my beautiful country…and I would never plan to stay there! What are you doing in Yahoo answers anyway..you obviously don’t know the answer and are really give stupid answers…you must really be one frustrated old woman to talk like that

I think, because of the wording “at least 18 and not more than 30 years old” you may qualify until you turn 31. You could contact Immigration New Zealand to confirm.
Edit: Just rang Immigration New Zealand – my understanding was correct – you should be fine – so go ahead and apply
What do you think? Answer below!
I thought the ruling was that you have to be under 30 when you enter the country, so you may not qualify. Check with immigration. I guess it’s a lesson for you in procrastination.
In any case, we are in a recession here so you may not get a job anyway, unless it’s fruitpicking.
Hi – I know you are looking for answers, but I was curious – what organization did you go through to get your visa. I am in the same boat. Plan on leaving in about 2 months. And agree there is a lot of things to do before heading out. Good luck to you. Hope you have fun. I talked to the organization I am going through and I have to go before I turn their age limit. (I had the same question and just called them)
