Im planning a retreat to a paradise island for all my friends! (it’s a grad party)
We’ve got some ideas to where we might like to go, but im still not sure which island is the BEST for our holiday

Go on a cruise, they aren’t that much and you get a variety!

Waikiki Beach is the best place to be!!! Been to the island of Oahu six times and planning a seventh next year!

Have you checked out the Kona Village Resort on the Big Island??? Its incredible. (I have lived in Hawaii 18 years FYI)
I’m quite biased, but I would say the Tonga islands. They have the last reigning monarchy in the South Pacific! But if you go there, don’t expect the clubMed type treatment–this is serious business. I’m talking, a real travel back in time, more similar to what things used to be like in the Pacific before everything was so colonized….
But out of the places that you have listed, Bora Bora is beautiful. Waikiki is going to be like a city from the mainland, in the middle of the ocean, and Guam can be a little like that as well. If you go with Hawaii, try a different island. Nauru is also beautiful, but that is the order in which I would make my decision
If you want night city life, then Oahu would be good. Maui would be nice place. Every island has its own personality and beauty.

That’s true. Go on the Tahiti cruise. With a cruise, you already have a room and food. Check out the different ports you stop at and decide if, and which you care to visit again.
You’ll all have a blast!! We totally loved it.
Plus we saw whales on our trip. Took a bus tour out to a beach in Mo’orea and drank beer while paddling around on a borrowed canoe.
But if you have a lot of funds in your account, Waikiki won’t disappoint you.

I think Maui, Hawaii is beautiful. The Westin and Hyatt Regency are great. I think the big Island of Hawaii, on Hawaii is great. The volcano is a wonderful sight and so are the Rain Forests. The Island of Kauai, Hawaii is also gorgeous. There are beautiful gardens. I would only spend one (1) day or less in Honolulu, although it is great to see once. Since the flight to Hawaii is long, at least from the East Coast, you might want to stop in California. Also St. Thomas and St. John are beautiful and have beautiful beaches, and are less expensive, but Hawaii is better, if you can swing it.
If you have airline miles or starpoints, you should use them for you airfare to Hawaii.
