What would be an ideal place for a holiday?

Question by Vic: What would be an ideal place for a holiday?
My family is looking to go on a holiday soon…we want to go in between two weeks’ and about six week’s time…some time within those dates.
We’re looking for a package deal that will be the best value for money – we can spend between 00-10000 New Zealand Dollars (We live in NZ) but want to spend as little as we can.

Ideally, we want to go somewhere that is hot because it’s very cold here at the moment. My mum and I are also really keen for a cultural experience, like going somewhere in Asia or the Middle East.

So, do you know of any places that are hot, unusual but also cheap? The money we have needs to pay for airfares, accomodation, sight seeing and spending money.

try the philippines, although it is heading into the rainy season there now. after the rainy season comes the typhoon season
