U.S. Resident (greencard holder) traveling to Australia for the Holidays… I am originally from Mexico and I have a Mexican passport. Do i need to get an Australian Tourist visa?

Yes, everyone except New Zealanders need a visa to enter Australia (or more precisely, you need an electronic travel authority). See http://www.eta.immi.gov.au/ to apply online.
You must have a visa to come to Australia for even a short stay. The exact visa you need depends on your passport country and the fact that you’re a US greencard holder has no bearing on that.
As a Mexican passport holder, you are not eligible for an ETA and will need a subclass 676 tourist visa which will cost AUD$105. You cannot lodge your application online. For all details, go to the official Australian government website:
