Thanksgiving provides time to think about the less fortunate
A good friend of mine recently said that his least favorite thing about Christmas is that it overshadows Thanksgiving. I strongly echo that sentiment. Thanksgiving has and will always be one of my all-time favorite holidays. It’s a perfect time to sit down and reflect on our lives and declare that we’re thankful for all the comforts we’re endowed with.

Blood, crafts and inflatables all part of Beat Michigan Week
The university’s traditional Beat Michigan Week began a little early this year. With Thanksgiving on Thursday threatening to abbreviate the week normally packed with an assortment of events themed to beat the Wolverines, university organizers moved some events to last Friday.
