South Australia – Adventure and Wildlife

If you’ve climbed the bridge, circled the rock and snorkelled the reef… it’s time to meet the real Australia. In South Australia you can do the stuff others are only just beginning to discover… So get off the backpacker trail and: – Hike around Kangaroo Island, the wildlife haven they’re calling Australia’s newest ‘icon’ – Dive wrecks, kayak in wetlands, surf sand dunes, camp in the desert, play nine holes over a 1300 kilometre golf course, The World’s Longest Golf Course – Look for opals in the outback opal mining town of Coober Pedy – Drive through the awesome landscapes of the Flinders Ranges and Outback – Cycle through valleys and vineyards – Swim with tuna, sea lions and dolphins on Eyre Peninsula — or take a cage dive with Australia’s fearsome great white sharks – Pick grapes during the crazy “vintage” season in the beautiful Barossa Valley – Attend the massive Adelaide Fringe when the entire city of Adelaide becomes the butt of its own jokes … All this and more is within easy reach of Adelaide, the most festive and chilled out state capital in Oz.

Now, this video is “truth in advertising”. Honestly.
As a local, I have done all of this stuff, (except for having the cage whilst I swam with sharks at Aldinga!), and did it on a “shoestring” as well!
    Well done.
