www.snow-australia.com Welcome to your daily Snow Australia resort update from here at beautiful Mt Buller. It’s been a wild few days of storms across many of our mountains bringing snow and opening up additional terrain. Here at Mt Buller we now have 17 lifts in operation and much of the mountain opening up for skiers and boarders including the Summit area and some beautiful southside runs. Snow cover is sitting at an average of 61cms and very close to the magic metre mark with 97cms in our snowmaking areas. We are counting down to the Burton Cattleman’s Rail Jam here this Saturday and enjoying school holidays with Kids Week in full swing. More snow showers are forecast right across the week so let’s take a look around the Victorian resorts… · Falls Creek at Hotham each have 13 lifts in operation and a very good to excellent cover. They’ve broken the magic metre mark at Falls with 107cms Hotham is sitting on 96cms helped along by recent snow storms this past week. · Mt Baw Baw has a good cover of around 29cms of snow and the big air bag is in action while over at Lake Mountain there is great cross country skiing and excellent tobogganing to be had. And in NSW · All lifts are primed to turn at Perisher today as the strong winds ease and are replaced by snow showers, Playstation slopestyle park has ben rebuilt and the Coca Cola Leichardt park is groomed and open . · Thredbo has all lifts in business also and excellent conditions having received 95cms of fresh snowfall in …
