Question by Boofy Sheep: What are some fun things for kids to do during the school holidays?
I live in Australia, and its the summer holidays, which means 6 weeks of boredom…what are some really fun things to do on the holidays before its time to go back to school? I’m too young to really go anywhere by myself, so that means I would need my mum or dad to come with me. I also have an older 16-year-old brother who would probably have to come along too.
Also, I’m looking for things that won’t be too expensive. I mean, some things do cost money, but nothing kinda, crazy expensive, you know.

My kids have been ten pin bowling, swimming, the movies and putt putt golf. I know they probably seem pretty lame to a 16 year old brother but I found each one quite enjoyable.
Not knowing which state you’re in makes it a bit hard – but I’m in Sydney and I always keep an eye on the Homebush Olympic site as they’ve always got great things going on.
