Q&A: South Pacific or Caribbean?

Question by Ryan S: South Pacific or Caribbean?
Were looking for a laid back holiday. I heard that the south pacific is better because its more exotic and not so populated. We want something that realy hasn’t been developed at all. we want safety from diseases, fish, thieves, hurricanes, ect…) Please help. Oh and were HUGE swimmers not so much scuba divers, boaters, or surfers. It ha too be really relaxing and secluded.

Why not try the Philippine islands like Bohol, Palawan, Boracay, Camiguin and Camarines Sur!

  1. For several decades there has been extensive migration from the small island states of the South Pacific and the eastern Caribbean to metropolitan countries, resulting in absolute population decline in some states and new social, economic and political relationships between these island regions and distant worlds.

There are many beautiful islands in French Polynesia that fit your description. Most, if not all, have really peaceful lagoons that are great for swimming and snorkeling. There is some development but it’s not overdone (I’m assuming you’d like to have running water?).
