if i am a uni student and get a part time job at eg. coles..you know how the december holidays in uni are about 3 months? do you think they let you take time off? if i wanted to have a holiday for 2 months will they let me?

You will be a casual which means if you take time off – even more than 2 weeks then you risk not being asked to do any more shifts. If you are PT then you are only eligible for 4 weeks off a year – and you generally cannot expect to get the Dec/Feb time off as the perm FT staff get first dibs on this (the ones with school children generally have first preference). So again if you are wanting 2 months off – goodbye apply again next year.
