You don’t have options you just have one thing to do, it’s not magic; get a bike license. And even then you have to check it’s valid in New Zealand.

Same answer as the last one, no option but to gain your licence before you get here. Long process to gain your motorbike licence in New Zealand
First you have to pass a skills test, which shows you are able to ride a bike up to a certain standard, emergency braking doing figure 8′s etc. this is before you are able to even to sit your written test. Then you are allowed out on the road with a yellow L plate attached and not able to exceed speed of 70km a hour. This is then followed by sitting your restricted licence. They test you by following you around in a car. You have a head piece in your helmet so they can give you instructions. Finally you may sit you full licence after another period of time. This again is where you go out on your motorbike which cannot be any bigger than a 250CC bike the whole way through sitting your licence, you are followed again by the tester in their car.
However, if you have your car licence you can ride a scooter here zoom zoom lol lol
Your best option, get your licence before you come and you can use that here
get a motorbike licence
Motor bike license in New Zealand are going to be harder to get soon. So get one before you arrive. Then get an international drivers licence.
