Q&A: Cleansing and detoxing holidays in Thailand?
Question by shazza: Cleansing and detoxing holidays in Thailand?
I havent been feeling well for a number of years due to stomach and joint pains as well as skin rashes and fatigue. I wanted to go for a spa break where i could have a complete detox that includes fasting and colonic cleansing to see if this makes me feel better. A friend suggested going to a detox spa in Thailand. it is something that i have been considering for a while as the people who have had this treatment talk of how it has changed their lives and health. I would like to know if anyone has ever been on one of these retreats and how they felt after. Did It change your Life, mindset or health?
Thanks guys but I have had a complete medical in fact i have lots and all they do is ply you with tablets and potions and then they give you more tablets and potions to counteract the side effects of the ones they give you in the beginning. I have experienced so many problem due to overuse of meds that I am worse than ever. By the Way i used to run every day and do body building as well as swimming and aerobics and lots more in fact i was the fitness queen lol !!! but I think my condition has been made worse due to all the meds i have taken over the years i just need a complete clean out and start again.
So do you live in Thailand carlito?? Have you seen these spas if so which are the best?
Thanks Ann have you had treatment and which one would you recommend?

maybe try a real doctor first?
‘detox’ is a myth. And a hosepipe up the backside won’t help matters.

A doctor will never recommend spa for any medical problems. Go for a complete medical check-up and start exercising everyday.Jogging for 1 hour everyday and see the result in 6 months. After that, contact me and let’s have some fun in Hatyai City in Thailand deep south.
