mY WIFE AND i OWN A PUB AND WE ARE KNACKERED AND NEED SOME R&R.

We have investigated and the nearest place to UK with sun other than Egypt with sand and sea seems Cape Verde The island of Sal. Its got a direct flight in 4.5 hours.

Been into travel agents today and been offred a 4star hotel for 2 of us for 1200 pounds. I know it won’t be like a UK 4 star but I am used to huts on the beaches of Thailand… so it can’t be too bad and as long as that includes some beer, some snack foods, Im sure we can find alternatives. Also, we are looking at going next Monday for just a week, so this isn’t a be all and end all holiday of the year. Just a warmer break than Norfolk in the UK

We have a choice of two sister hotels the Riu groups Funnana or Grapaua on Sal.

Come on, help me out, the little village of Santa Maria sounds sweet..all we need is some sun shine, some smiles, some good food and time to sleep and read and xxxx.
