Since they are two seperate countries, it probably isn’t possible. If you are unsure, then go ask the embassy and see what they say.

No this is not possible and certainly not adviseable.
I would think not as the two countries have different specifications, and if you get caught you may not be allowed back in. If in doubt check with the Australian consulate or the New Zealand consulate, you can get both of those on line, get the phone number and give them a call. Better to check.
