Talk to a travel agent. June-July was speculated as being the best time to go. I went over in the start of December and that was great. But don’t go over towards the end of december or jan/feb as that’s cyclone season.

I really depends what you’re going for. Vanuatu is tropical, and so only really has two seasons – wet and dry. The “wet” season (Southern Hemisphere Summer) is very, very humid, with frequent tropical monsoons, although this can actually be a really great and interesting time to visit. The “dry” season is a little cooler, but still frequently has the humid day – rainy night cycle. I’ve been a few times and I’ve probably had the most fun over summer; although it can be quite frequently overcast, it’s still more than hot enough to swim/snorkel/take in some of the awesome sights.
