I don’t want to visit the main land, but is there any islands or places around australia that are really good. I have looked in to Tasmania, but it doesn’t look all that nice. Is there any really nice places in Tasmania with nice sandy beaches, blue waters and really good activities to do?
If not, is there anywhere near or around Australia where I can visit? I’ve already been to New Zealand so I don’t want to go there again..

It sounds to me like you are after a tropical experience so I’d recommend a visit to the Whitsundays in Northern Queensland….in this region alone there are at least 74 tropical islands to choose from & you can hire a sail boat & cruise them all….the Great Barrier Reef is a free bonus.

Tasmania is actually a very beautiful place with great beaches etc, but it’s also very cold. As Aussie said, the Whitsunday Islands are a good place to visit for your purpose.
