All you need is your passport.

Australian citizens and people who hold a current Australian permanent residence visa or a current Australian resident return visa do not need a visa to enter New Zealand.

  2. Australian Citizens traveling on their Australian passport are automatically granted a Special Category Visa upon entering New Zealand, allowing them to stay indefinitely.
