I am Filipino, and I am planning to go to Thailand for a long
holidays. Do I need a visa? I plan to stay either 30 to 90 days.

If your planning to stay more than 30 days then yes you need a visa. You can go to the Thai consulate nearest you and apply for a tourist visa which is good for 60 days. Starting 1 April tourist visas will be free (no cost). After you are in Thailand you can go to immigrations and apply for a 30 day extension of your tourist visa this will cost you 1,900 baht and give you your 90 days here in Thailand.

Kabayan. 30 days entry to Thialand is free, no visa needed. In some areas you can extend another 30 days all you need to do is to exit (like in Chiang Rai you can exit to Myanmar then go back to Thailand and in Southern part you can exit to Penang). But if you are staying in Bangkok you need the 90 days longer stay. You need to pay 1,900 baht but there are a lot of documents they will require of you.
Hope this help. Mabuhay!
Filipinos are allowed to enter Thailand without a visa and can stay for maximum of 30 days. Should you stay more than that, you must obtain a visa at the Thai Embassy nearest to you.
