You must have a visa to enter Australia, but exactly which one and the best way to apply will depend on your passport country. It’s difficult to answer this type of question simply without knowing where you’re from.

If you’re from any of the following countries:
Andorra, Austria, Belgium, Brunei, Canada, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hong Kong SAR, Iceland, Ireland, Italy, Japan, Liechtenstein, Luxembourg, Malaysia, Malta, Monaco, Netherlands, Norway, Portugal, San Marino, Singapore, South Korea, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, United Kingdom, United States Of America, Vatican City, and you want to stay for 3 months or less, you will be able to get an ETA online, probably in a few minutes:

If you want to stay for longer or if your passport is not from one of the listed countries, you will need to apply for a different tourist visa:

This visa can take a few weeks to be granted so leave plenty of time.
