I want to start training next year to become an air hostess for a domestic airline in my country, Australia, but heard that the industry has lots of competition and hard to get into.
What are the things airlines are looking for most in flight attendants here? And is certificate III in turism and hospitality the best way to go?

My daughter’s friend is a cabin attendant with Virgin Blue. She had no qualifications apart from finishing year 12, but she and everyone else had to do a sort of audition for them. You could sing, dance or whatever it took to prove how bubbly and extroverted you were.
