Adelaide is a city of great visual harmony and classical elegant style, superbly set beside the River Torrens between the Adelaide Hills and waters of Gulf St Vincent. The wine and festival capital of Australia, Adelaide is a place to experience the buzz, culture and convenience of a big city without the frustrations. The city centre, surrounded by parklands, is a charming blend of historic buildings, wide streets, groovy shops, street cafes and restaurants. And because Adelaide is known as the 20-minute city, you can experience it all on a series of easy short walks.Please take me to Australia – find photos, videos, accommodation, sightseeing, tours, car rentals, package holidays and attractions around Australia. Clare is a great place to visit. The Watervale region, just to the south west of the town of Clare has some of the most exquisite rieslings in the world.
Lots of little boutique wineries and a fabulous ambience for a romantic rendezvous.
One of my favourite places on the planet.
Man i miss Adelaide, i travelled OZ for a year back in 2006, and out of all the cities i enjoyed here the best. Totally laid back atmosphere compared with Sydney and Melbourne…and Brisbane..well lets not go there
I have been there from Canada four times. Loved every minute! Stayed mostly on MacKinnon Parade N Adelaide next to the Uni sports fields. Truly great city!
the fishing’s good no licence required
@s13matt thank you for the info. May Yahuwah’s love be your guide.
@katpiering123 Adelaide is the cheapest, then Perth.
Sydney and Melbourne are more expensive both in the city and in the suburbs.

@leston4life fuck you, you a very boring fuck.
Just watching this “promo”, it looks like Adelaide is a VERY boring place…..for tourists. It might be good for students, though.
@OMFGitsMARK u there yet lol
I so much want to spend half the year over there… just to get away from our harsh winter we have here in Canada…
@AllantmTV I thought so, there’s nothing there, haha.
@MrStubbja it issss!
Apparently Adelaide is a boring city, is that true?
seems we all got the same problem with those faries tryin to run shit
All of the people who say bad things about Adelaide really have no idea. I live in Springfield, and I won’t lie- it’s hands down the best suburb in Australia, and I’ve been to many- Toorak and Vaucluse included. I study in the city centre and not once have I been the target of crime. People talk about the Snowtown and Kapunda murders (15 years apart and they weren’t even in Adelaide), but they seem to forget the instances of terrible crimes in their own city. Adelaide’s a great place to live.
I would not want to live anywhere else but adelaide SA.. Has everything a big city has to offer and more. without being over poppulated.I live in the outer subs. and only take 30mins to get to the city..
@sydneyfcanddascc No offence but I believe you need to watch Van Diemens Land the movie or read about Port Macquarie settlements. You will then realise what your ‘beautiful land’ was really like and why Captain Cook named many places, such as Cape Tribulation , after horrific and gruelling experiences. Australia was a horrific backwater and in many ways is still catching up to Europe today.
@Valkyriepure seriously, wat have u got against us ? are you still jealous captain cook and the convicts did a runner out of england to a beautiful land like australia, shame shame shame
All of those dicks bagging Adelaide, FUCK YOU. Only you boring people bag Adelaide. You boring lot are a minority. I love Adelaide and wouldn’t live anywhere else. We continue to be an awesome city of Australia. Any nasty replies will be ignored as I really couldn’t care what you think either than the fact that you are boring and have shit lives that you must pay out a city that you probably don’t even live in.
@olkilldevil20 What’s that suppose to mean? Please kindly explain, messer.
