Hi. I am planning a self drive holiday in Perth, Western Australia. While searching for good car rental deals, I came across this website www.carrentals.net.au which offers pretty good deals. Does anyone know if this company is reliable (I am a foreigner)? Or should I just stick to the usual Avis, Budget, Hertz which are well-know car rental companies? Thanks.

That site looks like a “broker’ site, not an actual rental company in itself.
There are the usual big names in Perth – Avis, Europcar etc, but also a few smaller and cheaper ones such us Budget Car Rental or Bayswater Car rental, plus a few “banger hire” companies which are entirely safe but the cars are older.
There is one near me in South Fremantle that charges – per day.
Check them out on the net, its an easy search – put in “no birds” as that is Bayswaters advertising slogan ( per day 1 yr old Corolla hatch 100kms day inc) as an example.

Bayswater is quite good – we have used them. Carrentals.net.au give good deals and are reliable. We used them as well on another trip.
M2000 is the one I always hire from because they are the cheapest I have found so far….
