We’re coming down for a holiday and have heard there’s thunderstorms this week, which has put a real downer on our plans. I also heard that if there are storms, it won’t last all day and that there should still be some sun (fingers crossed). It would be great to here from someone who is actually there right now!!

If you remain in the Western Part of the main island Viti Levu, you should be alright as it is relatively dry and sunny in the West since it’s the Leeward side of the Island, also they have the best beaches in the West. Also if it rains, it only pours for a small period of time. But it is going to be super humid so be prepared.
The Windward side of Viti Levu is relatively wet most of the time, since it rains a lot. So if I were you, I’d stay in the Western part of the island.
