If u r over 25 it’s easier to rent a car.
You are looking at 52 ++ a day for the cheapest car (plus tax and stuffs) Petrol going at 1.20 +-
Uh. u can try Access a Car or Hertz.
Buying a car it’s a little harder but if 3 months it is a little cost effective, especially if u r in Vic where cars are relatively cheaper (i think)

I would suggest buying a cheap car, then sell it, cause renting a car for 3 months will cost a fortune. However you can sign a long-term lease, my friends boss has a yearly lease on a BMW, costs alot, but i suppose they are the boss so they can afford it lol. Check Avis, Hertz, Thrifty, they are the main car rental businesses in Australia that i can think of. Good Luck enjoy ur trip
If you’re only spending three months – you can check out wicked campers – sleep in the van and save on accom or join the website travelpod the forum is a great guide (free) and ask actual travellers – I think three months when buying doesn’t give you much time or experience to resell the vehicle before you head off.
