@dragonview Well if you go to google maps at get directions from Wanaka to Lake Tekapo, it says it’s about a 2 hours and 20 minutes drive. However, due to the roads being so windy, it could easily become a 4 hours and 40 minute drive. Yeah I would say a 10 year old could do it. I would say it is a half-day trail. Although, depending on how long and often you stop for pictures and video will determine how long it will take. As you can see, I stopped quite a bit to get lots of video.

Yes, we are going to NZ in 2 weeks. Is the Mt John Walkway easy for 10 year old kids? and how far a drive from Wanaka is it? Is the trail a half-day (3-4 hours) hike or a full day?
    Thanks.

@dragonview Oh and I used iMovie to stabilize the footage and Final Cut to edit it all.

@dragonview Hi Dragonview and I’m so glad to hear that you like my New Zealand videos! I really appreciate it! :) The hiking trail we went on at 10:16 was called ‘Mt John Walkway’ as seen on the sign. It is located on the south island near Lake Tekapo. There are two separate trails on the ‘Mt John Walkway’ and I think the one we did around 12:00 in the video was the ‘Observatory Circuit Return’. Hope this was helpful. Are you planning on going to NZ?

I enjoyed Part 2 as much as your lovely Part 1. Great video and editing techniques! Which editing software did you use for this?
Which hiking trail was it around 12 min of this video, with the lakes and mountains?
    Thanks.
