Im looking for an Hp Pavilion dm4 1050 ca
and with the student discount im getting it for 791.99$ before tax.
could i get it even cheaper during the holiday season in Canada????

There usually are year end sales in most of the larger chain stores. Few years back I got my HP laptop coupled with a wireless router, printer and camera for all of 799.95. This allowed me to expand our network, add on another printer and gave us an extra camera. No they were not the high end stuff but the laptop had everything I wanted (17″, burner dvd, numeric keypad and more).
So basically yes if you wait for the year end sales it is possible to get either the one you want or another model close to it (possibly better) for a decent price. We got another laptop last year for under 500 at year end clearance (just laptop no extras).
