Question by Kate: Where to go on a beach holiday around November this year?
Hi all. I’m planning to go on a trip by myself for 1 week. I live in Europe and I don’t want to fly longer than 12 hours since i’m only staying 1 week. My first option is usually the States. I went to Miami last year and had good fun.
I want a place with good weather, beaches and a reasonably good nightlife (since i’m going by myself). I’m thinking States or maybe a Caribbean island for a change!

Jimmy – Thanks for the suggestion. I went to Freeport last year but there’s a lot better i think. I will look into other islands.

Why don’t you try the Bahamas? it is a great tourist resort.

Have you thought about Thailand – November would be a great time to go and it’s great place to go to chill out and have a good time.
I would have thought that one of the Egyptian resorts, either Hurghada or Sharm El Sheikh, might be suitable. November temperatures average 26*C-27*C (79*F-80*F), sea temperatures are still around 23*C-25*C (73*F-75*F) and the chances of rain are almost nil. The flight time of around 5hrs 30mins (from the UK) would also be more in keeping with a one week holiday.
