Hola. Most Mexicans are RC, so things like Christmas, Easter are a given.
They also celebrate several revolutionary or independance type holidays. Here are the main ones that occur.
New Year’s Day, January 1st.
February 2nd, and it is known as Constitution Day (Día de la Constitución).
Benito Juarez’s Birthday, celebrated on March 21.
Cinco de Mayo, or May 5th, victory against the French forces in the city of Puebla
September 16, however, is an official holiday – Independence Day
November 20 Mexican Revolution
Another unofficial holiday is the Day of the Dead, held on November 1st, which celebrates the departed with festivals and offerings.
All the little towns and cities will have their own days and celebrations as well that are special to their town.
Here is a list of all Mexican events on the Calendar. There is an error on the link and the 8th of January is incorrect,it should be the 6th.
