For an Australian to come to the USA on a holiday visa, what is required?
@GerdP I already know that and that has already been done. I was asking about the Holiday Visa which allows the person to stay up to 6 months.

You need to apply for a Electronic System Travel Authorization (ESTA) similar to the one Americans need to apply for coming to Australia. Contrary to yours which requires a service charge of AU$ 20 the American is still free of charge, It is valid for two years or until your passport expires whichever occurs first and allows several stays of up to 90 days on each occasion.

You further need to hold a return flight ticket and must convince the U.S: Immigration Officer that you do not plan to stay in the country illegally beyond your authorized stay.
