Some clips from our skiing holiday to Breckenridge, Colorado, in Feb 2010. All footage shot on the Gopro HD Hero in 720p 60fps – editing in Final Cut. A mixture of skiing, freestyle (well, nearly ;o) and some crashes. Lots of snow, not a lot of sunshine – great camera – particularly good in sunny conditions! We went for a variation of the pole mount by attaching one of the adhesive mounts to the end of a camera monopod. The fish eye lens on the Gopro means you need to get a lot closer to your subject that we did for a lot of our footage – especially on the jumps! This is my first edit using Final Cut – I did some colour correction on a few of the clips, mostly on the ones in overcast conditions.
