Q&A: What are some celebrations and rituals that just North America has?
Question by Bzzy: What are some celebrations and rituals that just North America has?
I know that the United States is very multicultural. I am looking for celebrations ex: such as Fourth of July. That is a North America holiday because everyone celebrates north america’s indepenence. So I am looking more specifically what the people of North America celebrate as a whole

thanksgiving?
Oh and here is Canada we don’t give a crap about your Fourth of July. We celebrate Canada Day on July 1st, the date we signed confederation in 1867.

Canada has thanksgiving. perhaps presidents day or flag day.
lol, the United States is a country.
North America is a whole continent.
The US alone declared its independence on July 4th.
Mexico did it on September 16.
Canada didn’t declare independence from anyone.
Anyhoo, its tough to say what Canadians, Americans, & Mexicans alone celebrate as a united folk.
Cinco de Mayo is big in the US but, weirdly, not so in Mexico.
Mardi Gras is big in New Orleans & Montreal b/c of their French origins. Not so in Mexico.
Heck, Day of the Dead / Dia de Los Muertos is big in the US & Mexico.
Can’t say if so in Canada.
