Q&A: North American Christians?

Question by Daughter of King Jesus: North American Christians?
do you feel it your duty as Christians to be patriotic? Is it the Christian part of you that likes things like a July 4 parade or the patriotic side? Should they be one in the same or separate? Why? Well, here is me. July 4th is my fav Holiday and I am not sure if it is because I was raised in a church where at VBS we said the Pledge of Alligence or because my B-day is July 2, or what. But hey I feel a connection is there between God and my country.

Jesus stated that you can not serve 2 masters, because you will love one and hate the other. If you pledge Allegiance to your country, you are choosing to love the USA and hate Jesus. If you continue to give your love to your country, you will soon find yourself burning on the everlasting 4th of July BBQ.
