Q&A: Holidays in Mexico where Fireworks are part of the celebration?

Question by alastrione: Holidays in Mexico where Fireworks are part of the celebration?
In the US fireworks are commonly part of 4th of July celebration, and to a lesser extent, New Years. Are there any holidays in Mexico where Fireworks are a traditional part of the celebration. If so please name them. Thanks in advance.

Sep. 15 and 16 Mexico Independence day. Damn it gets so cool and crazy. cant wait for this year bicentenario celebration. Also christmas and new years, but thats the people with there firecrackers and some fireworks. It literally last like more than a month and everyday you hear a bunch of firecrackers, on christmas and new years you cant even see from all the smoke.I like the cherry bombs they are really loud especially when it strucks midnight it just gets even more crazier. And there are other celebrations, but I guess those are the main ones
