Question by Adam: Going on holiday to America but under 21, will I encounter any problems?
Planning on a holiday to America soon but I am only 20 and know that quite a few things (such as drinking alcohol) require you to be 21.
Now, im not concerned about not being able to get alcohol (sure I can manage a month!) but is there anything I need to be aware of? I don’t want to get over there and find out I can’t do barely anything because im too young!

Most things require you to be 18…. drinking is the only thing that I know of that requires you to be at least 21… You should be good, man. Have a good time.

If your planning on going to Las Vegas or Atlantic City to gamble you have to be 21. Other then that, you should be fine.

If you have a major credit card no. If you don’t you may have a hard time staying in the nicer hotels.
Hiya:) Other than drinking and gambling which require you to be 21, you should have no problems. However, if you are planning on hiring a car, you would need to be 25. See if you can get some local travel guides for the cities you plan to visit. There are many clubs that allow under 21 yr olds, you just get a special stamp or bracelet stating you are a minor. There are probably lots of free stuff or low cost things to do that do not have an age requirement. Have fun and enjoy your trip:)
